Working with children
This program may involve working with children or vulnerable minors. Before applying, confirm the organization's safeguarding requirements, background checks, supervision, and minimum commitment directly with them. Volentroop is a discovery platform and does not vet or run these programs.
The city's official volunteer coordination unit, placing close to 5,000 volunteers a year (ages 18-40) in personally adapted assignments: childcare, mentoring at-risk youth, homework help, elderly companionship, and support for people with disabilities. A Volunteering Coordinator meets each candidate to match them with a suitable placement, with training and supervision provided throughout.
You'll continue to the organization's website. Volentroop does not charge a booking fee.
