Emergency Animal Rescue — Animal Ambulance Volunteer

Amsterdam's animal ambulance service handles around 50,000 emergency calls per year, and 80% of the work is done by volunteers. After completing a structured training programme (approx. 20 evening courses and 15 on-the-job sessions), volunteers respond to 24/7 emergency calls rescuing injured and distressed animals across the city.
