Working with children
This program may involve working with children or vulnerable minors. Before applying, confirm the organization's safeguarding requirements, background checks, supervision, and minimum commitment directly with them. Volentroop is a discovery platform and does not vet or run these programs.
Assist in schools or after-school tutorials in Sigatoka, where class sizes can reach 50 children per teacher. Volunteers work with students aged 4 to 16, following the local curriculum or leading independent lessons, with an option to also tutor at village afternoon programs. TEFL certification recommended but not required.
