Whale Conservation – Inhambane, Mozambique

Help local experts gather vital data on migrating humpback whales off the Inhambane coast and support efforts to protect these magnificent marine mammals. Volunteers assist with photo-identification surveys, acoustic monitoring, and educational outreach with local fishing communities during the July–November whale season. Fee includes shared beachside bungalow accommodation with ensuite bathrooms and ocean views, three meals a day prepared by an on-site chef plus packed lunches in the field, airport pickup from Inhambane Airport, accommodation the night before orientation, and 24/7 emergency support.
