Best Elephant Sanctuary Volunteer Programs 🐘 (2026)
· 11+ elephant programs on Volentroop
Most elephant sanctuary programs are concentrated in Thailand, with a smaller number in Cambodia and India, all rescuing elephants from the logging or tourism industry rather than offering riding. Look for a program that explicitly says no riding and no shows, that's the clearest sign it prioritizes elephant welfare over entertainment.
