Akim Israel – Intellectual Disability Companion

Volunteer with Israel's national organisation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting over 20,000 individuals. Akim operates day centres, supported housing, and community programmes in cities nationwide, including an innovative pre-military integration track for young adults with IDD. Volunteer roles include companionship, social activities, leisure outings, and helping people transition to independent living.
