Oslo Red Cross has 3,500 volunteers across 40+ activities for children, young people, and adults. English-speaking volunteers can join the Refugee Guide program (meeting refugees twice a month to practice Norwegian, go for walks or activities), the Norwegian Practice language cafes, and social events for isolated individuals. Free to volunteer; minimum commitment is 6 months for most roles. Minimum age 16.
